Our program offerings and initiatives are designed to not only meet your specific business and technical needs, but also provide for opportunities to collaborate and share best practices with Progress and other Progress Partners.As a Progress Technology Partner, you will be able to leverage a community of more than 2,500 other Partners to deliver embedded, complementary products with distinct features that are not currently offered by Progress to add value to your end user customer.
Progress Technology Partners include both large and small organizations that are included in the following three categories of Technology Partners:
- Platform Partners: Platform Partners are specifically those companies that produce operating systems or development platforms that Progress products operate on and are certified on, such as IBM AIX, HP HPUX, Microsoft Windows, Sun Solaris, Red Hat Linux, SUSE Linux, SCO Unix and Eclipse and Citrix platforms.
- Technology Alliance Partners: Technology Alliance Partners have very specific and individual business agreements with Progress. In some cases these are strategic alliances where Progress embeds the partners technology into its products. In other cases Progress may resell a partner’s products or technology as part of our solutions portfolio. In each of these cases Progress tailors the partnership and the related activities to maximize the value of the partnership.
- Tools & Utilities Partners: Partners in this category will have an interest in developing, marketing, and/or supporting a Software Interface between the partner's tools/product(s) and Progress product(s). The Tools & Utilities Partner is responsible for certifying product compatibility with Progress solutions, in addition to selling and supporting its own products and any Software Interface to Progress products. Through promotion of the Technology Partners Segment, Tools & Utilities Partners enjoy improved visibility within the Progress customer community.
